E-Commerce
I.S.I proposal for E-Commerce activity is a WEB application that manages the commercial relations between the Company and its Customers and/or Agents. Optionally, a Product Configurator for the on-line definition of the requested product features is available. It can be integrated with the company ERP to access commercial info and with MES to acquire information in real time about the production order progress with the relating delivery dates.
B2B e-commerce solution
The e-commerce solutions proposed by I.S.I. are business to business type, i.e. oriented to the commercial relationship management between the company and its customers and/or agents. Users access the WEB portal through a password login procedure. Through e-commerce solutions it is possible to speed up the company order acquisition, delegating to the customer the responsibility for their correct editing. E-commerce solutions can be presented also in electronic catalog version, with the possibility of category, search keys and product images management. The integration into the company ERP enables to shorten the customer order entry and keep items, price lists and commercial conditions updated. It is possible to configure customized rules to notify wrong configurations or to evaluate special commercial conditions. In order to encourage the customers’ portal use, the company can configure some services, among which estimate quotation, production status and ordered articles delivery visualization, access to newsletters and to shared documents (technical specifications, financial documents etc.).
In order to support the sales force, e-commerce portal can come together with statistical functions through which it is possible to evaluate each customer’s sales trend, the revenue or the customers’ payment status.
E-commerce application can be integrated with a product configurator for the on line configuration of customizable items, as shown in the figure above. In the example, referred to curtains, the height, width and color data can be set during the order, starting from a template graphically represented.
The configuration meets the rules required by ERP; the characteristics to be configured and their values are restricted to customer and model. E-commerce interface with MES (native with I.S.I. FPS-3k system) enables the real time acquisition of production order advancement status and delivery times.

- File sharing in an open customer area, with the possibility of configuring the access authorization for each.
- Configuration of items with features based on rules dependent on model, customer, market with integrated feasibility check.
Technical data
- WEB interface portal and WEB 2.0 technology;
- Multi-platform both server and customer level, (the server can be both Windows and Linux) while the most common browsers can be used (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, safari, Opera);
- Multi-database (both Oracle and SQL Server, in their commercial or express (free) versions, are supported;
- The service can be supplied by company server or server farm with dedicated housing machine.
